Story Overview
The intriguing plot of Pookkalam Varavayi weaves love, misunderstandings, family intrigue, and redemption.
The story begins when Abhimanyu and Samyuktha meet in a car accident. They initially dislike each other, but circumstances force them to work together.
Their alliance starts with helping Harshan, who is in love with Sapthathi (Samyuktha’s sister). However, Sapthathi is promised to another man, Ramesh Babu, due to family pressure.
Through twists and turns, Sapthathi’s marriage to Ramesh is called off, and a new match is proposed. But familial rivalries and traditions impose conditions: Harshan’s mother demands Abhimanyu marry first before Harshan. Though Abhimanyu is reluctant (he claims to not believe in marriage), he agrees to marry Nithya (an employee) as a façade.
Later revelations show that Nithya was only acting in this role, paid by Abhimanyu. Seeing this, Abhimanyu turns his attention to Samyuktha, proposing marriage to save Sapthathi’s prospects.
Once married, Abhimanyu and Samyuktha move into a large household, where challenges await. The antagonistic Sharmila (a mother / matriarch) plots against them, influencing Sapthathi, planting misunderstandings, scheming with Avanthika, and framing Samyuktha for theft of family heirlooms.
Samyuktha later challenges Abhimanyu to give her one year to make him fall in love with her, hoping to prove her worth and sincerity.
