Story / Synopsis
At its heart, Chandrikayil Aliyunnu Chandrakantham is a mix of ambition, duty, family ties, romance and emotional conflicts.
The plot centers on Alakananda — a young woman with a strong desire to become a doctor. But her father has a different dream: he wants her to become an IPS officer. This clash of aspirations becomes a major conflict in her life.
In a twist of fate, Gautham, an IPS officer, enters her life. Circumstances force a marriage between them, which complicates matters further — especially because Gautham has a past love, Priyamvada / Pinky, who remains a barrier in their relationship.
The show explores the tension between ambition and obligation, the emotional bonds of family (particularly father-daughter, mother-son), and the trials of love entangled in duty.
Recently, in an episode, Nanda (another character) entrusts care of her child Nandhu to Pinky, indicating ongoing family drama arcs.
